Showa Mechagodzilla
Mechagodzilla, also known as Showa Mechagodzilla, was a mechanical doppelgänger of the original Godzilla created by Dr. Mafune and the United Nations in 1974. The UN had hoped to use Mechagodzilla to defeat Godzilla once and for all, but their plan backfired when the machine went rogue and began wreaking havoc itself.
